Sunderland Tie Up Al-Muhammadi Deal

Apparently we’ve signed Egyptian Right-Back Ahmed Al Muhammadi. It should be fun thinking of a chant for this lad. Feel free to make your own suggestions.
He’ll be signing for Sunderland off the back of winning the African Nations cup with Egypt. He’s only 22 and was on trial with us in August but we failed to agree a fee with his club ENPPI.
Let’s hope Brucie’s found a gem in this lad.

In other news, Daryl Murphy has joined Ipswich on loan. He’s not going to do anything here so I think it suits all parties (actually it doesn’t, it suits us and Roy Keane, unlucky Ipswich. Then again he has scored some important goals for us and was quite an influential player in the Championship. A move might be just what he needs).
