Wigan’s Rodallega and N’Zogbia To Sunderland?

In reference to Dave Whelan’s knee-jerk reaction (It was Steve Bruce’s fault) to Wigan’s 9-1 defeat at the hands of Tottenham, Bruce responded; saying:
“I was trying to think of the couple of dodgy signings he was on about and I can only think of Hugo Rodallega and Charles N’Zogbia, who were signed at the back end of my time there, and if Wigan want to offload those two then we will be happy to take them.”
“I’m not going to get embroiled in that sort of stuff, but he knows the decent job I did for him.”
Yeah, we know it’s just a load of mind games but you never know. Bruce seems to hold a lot of respect from his players (past and present), so much so he was able to persuade Lee Cattermole to join him at Sunderland…and what a signing he’s been! Maybe Rodallega and N’Zogbia (aka ‘Insomnia’) will be the next players to be poached from underneath Martinez’s nose.
Oh…we’d like Figueroa as well please.
