We cant afford to let Bruce go at the momment. with the way the squad is playing. Players such as Richardson, McCartney, Bardsley and Malbranque and to an extent Campbell & Turner would not respond well to a change of management at this stage in the season.

We need to remember that our club is not situated in the most glamorous of locations and a majortiy of the squad are yet to build a genuine respect for the club and supporters. Letting Bruce go now would show a defeatist attitude which could send confidence even lower.

He needs to find a settled back 4 and fast. Why not consider switching to a back 5 and using Hutton and Richardson as attacking wingbacks?? Use Mensah in an Essien type role freeing up Cana and Cattermole to link the play, Jones & Bent up front.

I’d stick with Brucie myself. I still think he’ll come good. If we do go for a new manager (hope not) how about Di Matteo from West Brom? Just a thought.

I agree, I too am behind Bruce but it’s getting to the point where we have to make the decision to get rid of him before we are dragged into the relegation zone.

A new manager might be unable to stop the rot but I’d rather we try something different and give the team a shake up.

Hughes is a great shout.
